Dr. Criswell graduated from Van Buren High School with honors, Hendrix College with distinction and the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in 1988 with honors. He immediately began practice at Criswell Clinic Family Dentistry following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Billy Criswell. He provides general dentistry for both children and adults. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arkansas State Dental Association, the Fort Smith Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Orthodontic Society. Dr. Criswell, along with his wife, Tamara, and four children reside in Van Buren. He practices at both our locations.
Dr. Douglas graduated from Alma High School, Quachita Baptist University, and upon graduation from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in 1977 joined Criswell Clinic Family Dentistry in the practice of general dentistry for both children and adults. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arkansas State Dental Association, and the Fort Smith Dental Association. He lives in Alma with his wife, Charlotte, newly elected Arkansas State Representative. They are the parents of four grown children. Dr. Douglas practices at our Main Street office.
Dr. Hurst is a graduate of Van Buren High School, Quachita Baptist University, and in 2000, Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He then joined his father, Dr. Mike Hurst (retired 2012) at Criswell Clinic Family Dentistry. In addition to practicing general dentistry for children and adults, he also provides orthodontic services. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arkansas State Dental Association, the Fort Smith Dental Association and the American Orthodontic Society. He and his wife, Dusti, are the parents of three sons and reside in Van Buren. Dr. Hurst practices at both our locations.
Dr. Hays was an honor graduate of Van Buren High School. He went on to graduate the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and the Washington University School of Dentistry, St. Louis, MO. He attained his D.D.S. degree at age 22, one of the youngest graduates in school history. His senior year he received the CV Mosby Scholarship Award in Pedondontics. His oral and maxillofacial surgery residency was completed at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine where he received a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies and a Mayo Foundation Fellowship. He served on the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners for five years, two of those years as president. He served on the Multisite Regional Board of Examiners for 11 years. He is Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified and is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Hays provides oral surgery services at our Fayetteville Road office.
Tracy is a graduate of Southside High School in Fort Smith and The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock where she received a degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been with Criswell Clinic for 8.5 years. She lives in Lavaca with her husband and 14-year old son. She currently serves the Lavaca Middle School as secretary/treasurer for both the Booster Club and little league basketball teams.
Candice is a graduate of The University of Arkansas Fort Smith with a degree in General Studies and holds an Applied Science degree from LCCC in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She has been with Criswell Clinic for 3.5 years. She enjoys professional wildlife and family photography. She also volunteers promoting animal adoption through local dog rescues. She is married, has one daughter, and is expecting another daughter in June.
Danielle holds a degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. She has been with Criswell Clinic since May 2011. She and her husband, Johnathon, reside in Alma. She enjoys traveling, golf, and spending time with family.
Rebecca has a degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. She has been with Criswell Clinic since 2009. She and her husband, Zack, are lifelong residents of Van Buren. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and playing with their beagle. Bailey.
Kristie holds a degree in Dental Hygiene from The University of Arkansas Fort Smith. She has been with Criswell Clinic since 2006. She lives in Van Buren.
